That’s the idea behind Great Day. I wanted the name to capture that light, joyful feeling when something small makes an already good day feel just a little more special—with a touch of whimsy thrown in for good measure.

Great Day Shaniko Fingering is the first yarn in our Great Day base from Gray Hare Fiber Co. It’s a 100% American-made yarn, grown, processed, and spun entirely in the U.S. Made with non-superwash Shaniko wool with a fine 21-micron count and a lovely twist, it has a soft, squishy feel in your hands along with beautiful drape and crisp stitch definition.
