What began as a mix-up at the mill - a skein of Germantown with 3 plies, not 4 - became a yarn that we fell in love with and knew we needed. After an additional sample run to perfect the twist, Germantown DK was born. The end result is a beautiful and crisp yarn with stunning stitch definition. 

An icon of American craft, Germantown was developed in Philadelphia in the early 1800s. Synonymous with a good quality worsted yarn, Germantown is 100% grown and manufactured in the USA, with wool from western states and the yarn dyed and spun in North Carolina.
